Elvish Unarmed Fighting Style - Maclaumë

Maclaumë (Quenyan for “Fighting with no sword) is an advanced unarmed combat style. It is taught only to those who have already mastered another armed combat style. Its purpose is to give those who have been disarmed in combat – or for whatever reason find themselves in combat without a weapon – the skills necessary to survive. There is nothing “pretty” about this style: it is designed to finish a (probably armed) enemy as quickly and brutally as possible. Although the emphasis in combat is to get your weapon back – with either a Push or a Push Kick, for example – expert practitioners of this style have been known to defeat armed opponents with their bare hands.
