217-1128: Players meet Copernicus Slater and Rodrigo Montefuego on New Detroit.  The players break into Professor Fibonacci’s mansion on New Detroit, and meet the A.I. Standing Wave.  The players learn Fibonacci is experimenting with Herald alien artificial intelligence technology.  As a show of good faith, Standing Wave gives the players the location of Cable’s apartment.  They ambush him in his apartment and kill him.

218-1128: Coordinating with Standing Wave, the players get a lead on Cable working with the O’Banions, and coordinating with an off-world Imperial entity.  The players and Det. Montoya plan to crash the meeting.

219-1128: Players infiltrate the gang meeting at a warehouse with the O’Banions.  The players learn the O’Banions were working for Imperial forces and the Vemene.  A Vemene hit squad arrives with Lady Gray and kill all the O’Banions including the boss.  Players escape the slaughter with Mr. Moscatelli into an old Helios underground bunker.  Player find an old Taurus class SDB, and repair it, escaping from the battle.  Mr. Moscatelli signs the ship to the party as a reward.

226-1128: Players have finished outfitting the Traveller’s Bounty.    Players are introduced to broker John Skoretski.

227-1128: Players travel to New Avalon to examine a mansion there owned by Professor Fibonacci.  Players meet Vaedra, Mr. Moscatelli’s chief of security.  The players explore the mansion and get into a gunfight with a Red Hull pirate.  Copernicus Slater melts the pirate.  The players learn Fibonacci used a group called the Red Hull pirates to ambush and capture a Helios ship called the Shepard Brook with Herald technology onboard.

229-1128: Players return to New Detroit and speak with Mr. Moscatelli.  He gives them a lead on the Red Hull Pirates operating out of Tem’s.  He gives the players a cargo to transport there and a contact.  Players meet Gorakak on New Detroit.  They get into brawl with Vargyr spacers.  Gorakak joins the crew.  Copernicus Slater decides this is not the life for him and leaves.  Engineer Geffert joins the crew.

234-1128: Players arrive at Tems V “Some” mining colony operated by Sumatra Corp with weapons cache. Meet Sandy Lejure.  Chester McGee joins the crew.  The players learn the hidden location of the Red Hull pirate base.  Port Administrator Leon Damshade tries to sell the players out.

239-1128: Players assault the Red Hull pirate base on Tems fighting pirates and a strange Imperial Marine battle robot, then assault the Shepard Brook as it tries to escape.  Pirate captain Cagey Jack is killed.  Players discover the dying Herald prisoner aboard the Shepard Brook.  The Herald awakens latent psionic potential in Casey and Callen.  Players strip laser cannons from Shepard Brook and mount them on the Bounty.  Players learn about the Fibonacci lab on Tems VI.

245-1128: Players search Fibonacci’s labs on Tem’s VI.  They find evidence of grisly human experiments and fragments of human consciousness uploaded to computers.  Learn Fibonacci took the Pirate flag ship and enslaved pirate crew to Eden with Rebecca in suspended animation.

248-1128: Players arrive at Cardwell colony to find safe place for Gorakak to stalk.  Players shop.  Players then depart for Eden.

251-1128: Players arrive at Eden.  The players board the Goreframe in orbit around Eden finding it empty aside from corpses.  Casey crash lands on dark side of Eden after the ship loses power.  Chester Mcgee dies in the crash.

251-283-1128: Players explore the strange world of Eden.  Callen eats a magic vampire rock and gets superpowers.  The players reside in a strange castle then escape.  Travel to the light side of the world and meet Dawnstar.  They travel to the city of Vertigo and eventually wake up realizing they were trapped in a virtual reality set up as a defense to ward off any visitors to Eden by the ancient computer there.

283-1128: Players confront and kill Professor Fibonacci and Rebecca Winters accidently with a grenade on Eden.  Dawnstar is killed in the explosion and the ancient computer is badly damaged.  Rebecca’s consciousness in the ancient black cube artifact is recovered by the players.  Fibonacci, who was plugged into the computer, becomes an AI and swears vengeance on the Colonies for killing his wife.  His consciousness is transferred off-world.  Vigil, an ancient AI mainframe controlling the planet Eden, speaks to the players and warns them of what may be coming before going offline.  Players see the room contained hundreds of stasis pods with dead Dryone in them.  The players depart Eden and claim the Goreframe as their new ship. Red Hull Pirate Warren survives and joins the player’s crew.

Copernicus Slater decides this is not the life for him and leaves.

Hmmm...I think Eric needs to re-read that story I posted on the forum. That Copernicus got beaten to a pulp and shot in the face by his crazed DNPC butler. Sad Sad
