This may only be a fan poster for the upcoming Star Wars Episode 7, but it certainly convinced me. I think this is about as real as it gets.

Re: Pictures
So, my wife and I have been watching a fair bit of the old Futurama series. One of the characters is a Yiddish space squid named Dr. John A. Zoidberg. This unfortunate has quite a number of unfortunate run-ins with cruel, cruel reality, which makes him one of the more memorable characters from the show.
This picture represents the best gag I think he was a part of.
Don't know what gag this image comes from? Perhaps this video will help. This is from the infamous X-mas episode where the Futurama gang all go dressed up as Santa Claus to form a diversion. Sadly, the good Doctor does not get the memo...

The sun and Charon, as seen from the surface of Pluto.
According to an artist's best interpretation. The New Horizons mission is still about a year away from giving us the real photos of the lone planetoid and its moon.
Wait. That's no moon. It's a downgraded planetoid. Â Â

When the sun descends to the depths with the cares of my life, I often recall the sights, smells, and the memories involved with ye olde standard game arcade. Ah, the times. Those are halcyon events I shall never recapture. Those are fireflies that can never be bottled. Fireflies in faux wood cabinets.

Ha!
Interestingly (if you consider Pluto to be a planet, I suppose), the Pluto/Charon/Hydra/Nix system is the only planetary system with the barycenter outside of a celestial body.

What about the Nickle-cade?

There are too many ticket games at the Nickelcade for my taste. That and most of the actual arcade machines are broken and can't be used. And since arcade machines don't compel kids to pump quarters into them like ticket machine do, the ticket games get fixed while the arcade machines stay broken.

Re: Pictures
So, are you wondering how my character fared in the superhero game last night? The rest of the group did fairly well, but do you perhaps wonder what became of the hero I played?
Yep, that's how it ended for me. A whole six hours of role-playing and I didn't roll damage for my character even once. I just took some hits for the team. Yep, big dumb punching bag. That's what I did.
Perhaps I should have stayed down or just stayed in bed. Maybe that's where I'll go next.

Maybe you should lay off the super-peyote....
From what Heber said it was a fairly enjoyable game. I'm sorry to have missed it.

Yeah, it was an enjoyable time. While Joe may have allowed you to play your sniper, he would have downgraded him back to his factory default setting of 250 points. No 14d6 energy blast for you, milado.

One of these days in the not so distant future, you will face Doctor Destroyer. Will you be ready when the time comes? These cool super persons lying in kablammoed unconsciousness certainly weren't.

Re: Pictures
This was the recipient of the Worse Role Playing Game Book Cover Ever award, I think.
That is true. But you must admit the pose of the good doctor has to be one of the best as far as drawings of a Machiavellian plotting his evil deeds go.
Of course, just beating your foes into unconsciousness and using them for footstools may not work so well in Champions when they wake up ready for a second round. Then again, Doc Destroyer could just beat soundly while their endurances are weak and never give them a chance to recover. That would be equally amusing too.

The Spidermen take Manhattan and give it a chorus line kick. So, why is my Spider-Gaydar Sense acting up all of a sudden?
